Ulysses Adventure Riders SIG Annual Gathering 2017 – Wirrealpa Station, S.A.
In June we announced the details and dates for the 2017 Annual Gathering of the Ulysses Adventure Riders SIG.
This will be the eleventh annual meeting of the SIG since the first meeting at Arkaroola in 2006 and follows the very successful gathering at Kilcowera Station in Queensland in May this year.
In 2017 we are going to congregate at Wirrealpa Station which is a 1500 sq km working sheep and cattle property with the homestead located about 35 kms east of Blinman in the Flinders Ranges.
The dates for our meeting are Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th May, 2017.
More details will follow later in the year and registrations will be organised early in 2017. There will be options to camp as well as a limited number of beds in the shearers quarters and in a couple of station houses. There are also some very interesting geographical areas on the property, that can be visited by motorcycle via station tracks, as well as nearby gorges in the National Park and the small town of Blinman with its popular mine tours. Lots to see and do with the option of staying on for a few extra days if you would like to have a longer visit.
We are looking forward to another enjoyable event with the option of an extended ride through the Flinders Ranges and the opportunity to ride a lot more outback tracks between home and Wirrealpa Station.
