It seems funny to say Acerbis ‘adventure’ gear, because we remember when Franco Acerbis was a big supporter of adventure riding before there really was adventure riding.
We remember when people would say, “A-ser-biss..? Don’t they make plastics an’ that?” And the company used to produce a really superb yearbook based around the big rally races from around the world. Then there was a super-cool T-shirt doing the rounds that had a big letter ‘A’, a picture of a chair and a picture of some bees. The caption said ‘Acerbis. Say it right, dammit’, or something like that.
That must’ve been back ion the 1980s, and since then Acerbis really has widened its scope to where it offers a huge range of high-quality off-road product, including some really nice apparel.
We were pretty taken with this adventure-specific riding gear…
